At Lauriston, each child has their own digital personal learning plan which records their day to day life at nursery. To keep things simple, we use a cloud-based system called iConnect, which is an award-winning learning journey software package. It’s hosted on the iConnect safe, secure and robust servers, keeping your data safe!

Parents have access to their child’s digital learning plan via the ParentZone app, which has a personal password for each child. The app allows parents to keep track of their child’s activities and achievements throughout the day, from their free play, to what they eat and nap time.

Because a picture tells a thousand words, we also send you images of what your child has been up to this could be anything from painting to jumping in puddles, it really depends what we’re up to that day. This is all stored in an online record which gives parents a holistic view of their child’s ongoing development over their time with us.
